How I Will Get 10X Out of 10X GrowthCon and Conferences to Come

If you have never heard of 10X Growth Con, then keep reading. But I will go ahead and link it there because I’m such a nice guy.

However, it is pretty much summed up by the following — 10X Your Business. 10X Your Income. 10X Your Life.

Being the first conference I am attending via the lucrative funding vehicle of self-sponsorship, (Read: I paid for it on my own), I am making a commitment to squeezing the most out of this conference. My hope in laying it out on this forum is that others attending this conference, or other ones (for those of you who don’t follow GC — if that is a thing?), will take similar approaches to make sure they are getting the MOST out of the investments they make in themselves.

To do that, we need to follow two simple rules — LET’S GO!

Source

Rule #1 — Intention.

Defined, intention means “a thing intended; an aim or plan.”

Okay, that didn't help.

PLAN B —

intend. Defined, intend means, “have (a course of action) as one’s purpose or objective; plan.” Source: Google…duh.

If you read carefully, you will see it really is a two-part definition, 1st Part — is one’s purpose. 2nd Part, have a course of action…or objective; plan to accomplish said purpose.

Got it.

PART 1: What is my purpose for attending this event?

To roadmap how to grow my business to $20M, give a piece to Cardone Ventures, and work as business partners with GC and the BD (Big D? oops), go sell the business on Wall Street and then buy a bunch of cash flow positive Real Estate with the proceeds.

PART 2: What is my course of action to accomplish this?

A. Get in on the Cardone University Deal. Tactical. All businesses really require 3 things — Marketing, Sales, and Scale. The portion of that we have the most direct control over is SALES. And guess what? Marketing is sales. Scaling is sales. How are we going to market if we don’t understand sales or how are we going to SCALE if we don’t understand sales. So getting to that $20MM is greatly dependent upon SALES.

B. Connect with others who have been where I am in my business and taken it to that $20M target and beyond. Otto Von Bismarck said it best

“Only a fool learns from his own mistakes. The wise man learns from the mistakes of others.”

The power of leverage, which is not just a term for debt (at least in a sense of money) because at this point right now — I do have debt. Debt in the sense that I lack the knowledge and skillsets to take a company to $20MM.

C. Meet 100/day. 300 total or 2.5% of the entire conference. Whether we can do business at this time or not, doesn’t matter. To change the world and your world, you need people. As a real estate broker, anyone that lives in the universe engages in real estate to some degree. AND, you never know who someone might become. The trick is to be friends with Jeff before he is a Jeff Bezos.

C.b. Have a pitch ready. While this is my first self-funded conference it is not, my first conference. So I know conferences are interesting animals. There are a number of distractions, people, and noise. To cut through that, your pitch has to be direct and to the point. Here’s mine:

I get people the best deals on the best commercial real estate. Guaranteed. Who at your company would be interested in something like that?

Let me know what you think about my pitch below. BAM!

Purpose defined. A course of action laid out. Intention done.

Rule #2 — Have targets for the speakers

The title is self-explanatory. We got a lot of speakers at this event, let’s roll.

  1. Grant Cardone.

The Founder of the 10X Movement and so many other things.

  • Target: The biggest thing I want to take away from Grant is how to think bigger and do more and keep thinking bigger and doing more.
  • Target: How do you be entertaining and have people take you seriously?

2. Elena Cardone.

Author of Build an Empire and Podcast Host.

  • Target: As a married man, Learn how each couple has the ability and capacity to Build an Empire and how business/marriage is more of one and the same, rather than opposing forces.

3. Kevin Hart

He is a world-famous stand-up comedian and actor. In fact, Kevin Hart usurped the throne of the highest-paid comedian from Jerry Seinfeld in 2016. Jerry had held the throne for almost 20 years.

  • Target: How does one break into such a highly competitive business and not an only break-in but rise to the top?

4. Scooter Braun

As a talent manager, Braun represents Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Hilary Duff, and Demi Lovato among other popular celebrities. Scooter won the “Best Talent Manager” award at the 3rd annual International Music Industry Awards.

  • Target: How do you find great talent for your team!?

5. Jon Najarian

DRJ went from NFL linebacker to Stock Broker to starting his own company to selling it. To starting ANOTHER company and selling it again.

  • Target: Easy. Transition into a business sector that you don’t have a background in and sell it to one of your largest competitors for $750M. Sounds like someone’s purpose I just heard about?

6. Rick Ross

I don’t know if Rozay will be speaking or just performing, but I am coming prepared for either with a pen and paper in one hand and a bottle of champagne in the other.

  • Target: How do you LIGHT IT UP to become one of the most sought out entertainers in the world?

7. Magic Johnson

NBA Legend and Legendary businessman. Came from nothing to have everything. And what many don’t know, how Magic Johnson launched into business by selling a cup of coffee.

  • Target: How do we effectively leverage the success of others to catapult ourselves farther in less time?

8. Brad Parscale

Campaign Manager for Donald Trump in 2020 and Digital Director for Trump’s 2016 Campaign.

  • Target: How do you influence the world through social media?

9. Marie Forleo

Author of “Everything is Figureoutable” and named by Oprah as a thought leader for the next generation and one of Inc.’s 500 fastest growing companies.

  • Target: How do you breakdown big goals into daily actions to get results?

9. Ryan Deiss

Ryan is the creator of the “Customer Value Optimization” methodology and have introduced and popularized many of the digital selling strategies that modern companies now take for granted.

  • Target: How do you create movements that become a household name in industries?

10. Pete Vargas

Founder of Advance Your Reach, which has helped has helped clients book over 25,000 stages worldwide since 2003–and generate tens of millions of dollars of revenue through those stages.

  • Target: How do you get on stage? How do you make money from stage?

11. Snoop Dogg

Okay, if you don’t know who Snoop Dogg is, you have been living under a rock.

  • Target: How do you go from great to iconic legend?

Hope this helps you guys at this conference or your next conference. And lastly, if you are attending the GrowthCon — Reach out! Let’s connect. Whether I can do business with you or you with me or maybe I know someone who can do business with you, the answer to your search is a WHO.
